Jobs Coming to Windsor!

Windsor residents have received a string of good economic news in 2012. Back in January, the oil behemoth Haliburton announced that it’s building a new facility in Windsor, which is expected to bring five hundred jobs to the community. The very next day, TeleTech Holdings Inc announced it’s bringing a call-center to nearby Greeley, adding another five hundred jobs.

Then, just last week, Columbine Health Systems announced it’s building a $9M, 63,000 square-foot assisted-living facility in Winsdor. The facility fills a glaring void – Windsor currently has no assisted-living for retirees.

These developments further my excitement about Northern Colorado’s economic vitality. It’s not just the addition of jobs that encourages me, but the variety of corporations that find Northern Colorado a great place to do business. Far from depending on a single pet industry, Northern Colorado’s economy finds dynamism in diversity.
